Description

The research program Systems, Control an Applied Analysis is devoted to the analysis and design of
complex and heterogeneous system and optimization. The mathematical research in this program
is motivated by applications in various areas, including physical engineering
systems, networked systems, and systems biology. The four main lines of research are:

1) Modeling and control of complex physical systems as port-Hamiltonian systems (Arjan van der Schaft, Rosty Polyuga,  Aneesh Venkatraman , Marco Seslija )

2) Behavioral approach to systems and control (Harry Trentelman,  Shaik Fiaz, Mohammed Younas, Sasanka Gottimukkala)

3) Analysis and design of hybrid dynamical systems (Kanat Camlibel, Arjan van der Schaft, Florian Kerber, Thuan Quang Le , Harsh Vinjamoor)

4) (Mirjam Dür, Julia Sponsel, Peter Dickinson)

A more detailed description of each research line can be found in these PDF files:

The group maintains own local web pages with more information.
