Official awarding of EQUIS accreditation certificate for Faculty of Economics and Business this week
Dean Harry Garretsen and vice-dean Albert Boonstra were officially handed the EQUIS accreditation certificate this week at the annual EFMD conference in Brussels. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) was awarded the prestigious quality label last December, by EFMD, one of the leading international accreditation bodies.
In 2011, FEB acquired its first international accreditation, the AACSB label. Currently only one percent of business schools worldwide have the combination of the EQUIS and AACSB accreditations.
The official presentation of the EQUIS label to the FEB was part of the annual conference of the EFMD, European Foundation for Management Development. This conference brings together EFMD members, companies, educational institutions and other associations, offering various perspectives and discussions on the conference theme.
