Closing and Opening Ceremony

20 March 2016

On March 17, the Opening and Closing Ceremony for Honours Master students took place in the baptist church in Groningen. During this evening the graduated students presented their Masterwork, while new Master students were welcomed.

The evening was opened by the dean of the Honours College, Hanny Elzinga, after which the new students immediately started with a interactive workshop by Eva Pantelakis. Subsequently, the graduate students joined and presentations of the various Masterwork projects followed. By combining the old cohort (closing ceremony) and the new cohort (opening ceremony) the new Master students got a good impression of the Masterwork and how diverse it can be. After an official picture in the Academy Building, the evening ended with drinks, so students could exchange expierences about the Master programme.
