ICT-facilities for RUG staff

Through the ICT network of the university staff has access to a large number of ICT facilities. The Donald Smits Center for Information Technology (CIT) is largely responsible for the development and management of university ICT facilities such as network infrastructure and ICT services. Access to the network is possible via the RUGnumber: a username / password combination.

University workplace The majority of ICT services is offered through the University workplace (UWP). This is a collection of applications used by many employees (for example e-mail, electronic calendar, office programs).

Support  The Service Desk is part of the Donald Smits Center for IT (CIT) and supports employees and students at the University of Groningen if they have questions or problems in the field of IT.
