Climate Adaptation Award

The climate is changing and there is very little we can do to stop the temperature from rising. We can, however, adapt to the consequences of climate change (climate adaptation). How do you see society in a climate-proof Netherlands in 2100, and how will this affect the spatial, economic and social organization? Have you got some good ideas about this? If so, enter the Citizen Climate Adaptation Award 2021. The competition is open to individuals and groups of a maximum of four.

What do you need to do?

Write a paper, make a video, build a model or find another creative way to convey your idea. Send in your entry before 7 January 2021 to cf-board rug.nl. If your entry is too big for the digital mailbox, you can post it to RUG/Campus Fryslân, Wirdumerdijk 34, 8911 CE Leeuwarden.

Award ceremony

The award ceremony will take place on Saturday 23 January 2021 in Leeuwarden. During this day several activities will take place in the context of the international climate summit for climate adaptation, including a visit by Ban Ki-Moon to Campus Fryslân.
