Alumni Day 2024

From May 21 to 25, 2024, the UG will celebrate its 410th anniversary with events such as lectures, exhibitions, cultural and sporting activities, the Festival of Wonder and more.

There is a program for alumni on Saturday, May 25, consisting of activities from the faculties as well as a central program. Of course, alumni can also participate in everything that is being organized in Groningen on that day in honor of the 82nd anniversary.

10:30 – 11:00 : Reception with coffee and tea in the Spiegelzaal, Academy Building
11:00 – 11:15 : Opening in the Aula, Academy Building
11:15 – 11:45 : Lecture André Aleman - The power of mental imagery (participation is free)
11:45 – 12:00 : Announcement of the Alumnus of the Year
12:00 – 13:00 : Joint lunch at the Academieplein (participation 10 euros)
13:00 – 17:00 : On lecture tour through the city centre - Meet your favourite teacher (participation 7.50 euros)

You must register seperately to participate in the lecture, lunch and mini-lecture tour. Mind! Not all sections are in English.
