Language and Culture Policy

UG has a long history of internationalisation and has always been open to other languages and cultures. As UG strives to be a truly international university and a major global player, all barriers in language and culture need to be removed. The Language and Culture Policy (LCP), established in 2015, is a strong tool in the further internationalisation of our university. The aim of the UG Language and Culture Policy is to make all staff and students feel at home, confident and comfortable in using another language and culture, so that we can all be effective in what we do, as we aim for academic excellence.

In the menu on the left, you will find information about the content of the Language and Culture Policy and how UG involves staff and students. For more information about the LCP project you can contact Marloes Siccama (Programme manager Language & Culture Policy) or send an email to lcp rug.nl.
