Fast cells

02 July 2014

A University team of cell biologists recently won a special race for cells, with participants from across the world: the First Dicty World Race. The genetically modified cells combined speed with intelligence and managed to cross the finish line in first place, after having traversed a mini-maze. The entertaining race also had a serious scientific aim.

The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
