A new Academic Year. Time for a party!
The new Academic Year has begun! This was celebrated during the official opening ceremony on Monday 3 September. The University of Groningen has a number of special moments to look forward to in September. The University will award an honorary doctorate to Desmond Tutu on 24 September and will host the 3rd ASEM Rectors’ Conference from 24-26 September, which will see dozens of academic board members from across Asia and Europe attending.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
