The Royal Dutch Institute in Rome (KNIR) Research Researchers

Fellows & Associated Researchers

An important contribution to KNIR’s research is made by researchers affiliated with the institute. The KNIR Fellow programme aims to further strengthen the ties between the Dutch and the international — predominantly Italian — academic community.

KNIR Fellows are typically international scholars with strong roots in the Roman and/or Italian academic world and in other relevant institutions within and beyond Rome and Italy. They are therefore ideally positioned to advise KNIR on current academic developments as well as on social and political developments relevant to the institute.

Associated Researchers are closely involved in KNIR research projects. Together, Fellows and Associated Researchers make an important contribution to the KNIR Community through the expertise they bring, as well as that of their wider networks.
