Call for Applications: NWIB Visiting Professors Programme 2026/2027
The NWIB Visiting Professors Programme offers researchers a unique opportunity to work undisturbed in an inspiring and stimulating environment abroad. The programme enables participating researchers to stay at a Netherlands Scientific Institute Abroad (NWIB) for a period of up to three months to conduct research, give lectures and to contribute to the intellectual climate at the Institute. Available institutes are located in Cairo, Rome, Athens, and Florence. The call is open to assistant professors, associate professors, and full professors at participating universities: University of Groningen, Radboud University, Leiden University, University of Amsterdam, and Vrije Universiteit. Scholars from all disciplines are welcome but there must be a link between the research proposal on the one hand and the activities and geographic focus of the Institute on the other.
Please note that KNIR can only take applications for the Spring season into consideration.
