The University of Groningen has made special arrangements for top athletes (Students Topsport Regulations (STOR). These facilities enable students to adapt their study programme to their top athlete programme. When problems occur, solutions can be found by the top athlete co-ordinator in collaboration with the study co-ordinator of the respective faculty. Additionally, as a top athlete, you can apply for special funding for a maximum of two years.
Applicants for STOR should contact the university's top athlete co-ordinator, Mr Cees Reitsma, as soon as possible after the start of the academic year. His contact hours are every Wednesday morning from 9.00- 12.30 at the university's sport centre, Blauwborgje 16 in Groningen. To make an appointment, please e-mail:
