Newsletters

About the newsletters

The Graduate School uses the listserv facilities for its newsletters. We have created three different lists to serve the different informational needs of the subscribers.  

• GGSS-PHD is a list for the PhD student community; average traffic is ca. 1 message per week, and typically covers announcements about courses, events, and similar.
• GGSS-SUPERVISOR is a list for tenured and tenure-track scientific staff who might be envolved in the supervison of PhD students; traffic is ca. 1 message per month, including the 'GSS Highlights' page (see below for prior editions).
• GGSS-SUPPORT is aimed at keeping administrative staff members throughout the faculty up to date on issues pertaining to the graduate school; traffic is maximally a few postings per year.

How to subscribe/unsubscribe

PhD students and staff members receive the respective newsletter automatically. If for some reason you are not included in the list you can subscribe to any of the lists by sending an email message to listserv@list.rug.nl  The body text should be ''subscribe LISTNAME". For instance "subscribe GGSS-PHD". The subject line doesn't matter. You can leave the subject field blank.

To unsubscribe, the procedure is similar. Send a message to listserv@list.rug.nl  The body text should be ''signoff LISTNAME".
