Photo contest winners

Photo contest 2010

We are pleased to announce the results of the 2010 photo competition.This year’s winners were selected by a panel of ‘celebrity’ judges:

• Jasper Knoester (Dean of FMNS)

• Bart van der Laar (known for his role as moderator of KennisCafe)

• Jos Roerdink (scientific visualization guru and 2009 prize winner)

• Franjo Weissing ( Graduate School Director) 

The winners are:

First Prize: ‘Waiting for Sinterklaas’ by Olha Rohulya

Second Prize : ‘Without description’ by Parisa Noorishad

Third Prize: ‘Family happiness’ by Bao Tung Pham

Graduate School Choice: ‘Daily life of a PhD student’ by Cici Lang (photographer), submitted by Oktavia Hendrawati

The winners will receive a prize (gift certificate) and award.
