10 postdoctoral positions (full-time, duration 2-3 years) are opened in the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Environmental Adaptation ENVIRON. The main focus of the CoE is to address environmental adaptation from molecular mechanisms to ecosystem functioning, and feedbacks between plant and ecosystem adaptation and climate change. The CoE involves five reseach teams from three Estonian universities: Plant Physiology and Biosphere-atmosphere Interactions (Ülo Niinemets, Estonian University of Life Sciences), Plant Signal Research Group (Hannes Kollist, University of Tartu), Plant-pathogen Interactions (Erkki Truve, Tallinn Technical University), Plant Ecophysiology (Anu Sõber, University of Tartu) and Landscape Ecology & Ecotechnology (Ülo Mander), altogether involving over 50 senior staff members and more than 40 PhD students.
