U4 University Network - ‘Ageing Brain’

 

U4 strategic partnership

In 2008 the Ghent University, the University of Göttingen, the University of Groningen, and Uppsala University formed a strategic partnership. The partnership stands for a preferential, but not exclusive cooperation in European and International projects, for the development of joint initiatives in research and education and for the organisation and promotion of staff and student exchange.

 

Kick-off meeting joint U4 research program ‘Ageing Brain’

The kick-off of the joint U4 research program ‘Ageing Brain’ of the Research Network 'Ageing Brain' will take place on Saturday 22^nd of October 2011 during the U4 rector’s meeting in Uppsala, Sweden. 

 

U4 symposium, 'The Ageing Brain'

On Thursday 31^st of March and Friday 1^st of April 2011 the U4 symposium, 'The Ageing Brain', was organized in Groningen. Aim of this meeting was to define a research focus, set up a U4 PhD network in the field of medical sciences and develop a joint research program (8 joint PhD research projects).
