General information:

Synthetic Biology is a rapidly growing area of cross-disciplinary research that combines biology, medicine, chemistry, physics, mathematics and engineering sciences. The engineering of biology is making important contributions to advance our understanding of biological systems and, at the same time, it is fostering technological innovations that will be applicable in the industry. We present a program with invited speakers of world class, and contributions from researchers active in this new field, incl. tutorials on biological engineering.

Target group:

The Synthetic Biology Workshop is aimed at the rapidly growing community of scientists and engineers that are interested in the engineering of biology.

Registration Fees:

Participants will be charged either € 250 (applicants from academic institutions other than GBB/Stratingh/Zernike) or € 750 (applicants from research institutes and companies).
