The Research Master’s degree programme in Economics and Business and the Master’s degree programme in Business Administration of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen have achieved some of the highest scores in the annual Elsevier Education Survey. The students of the Research Master have given their degree programme a score of 8.8 and the Business Administration Master’s students have given theirs an 8.2. This puts both degree programmes into first place. For its annual research into ‘The Best Degree Programmes’, Elsevier questioned 3541 regular Master’s students and 490 Research Master’s students on matters related to teaching, job preparation, lecturers etc. ‘We are very proud to receive such excellent ratings from our students’, says Prof. Tammo Bijmolt, director of the SOM research school, responsible for the FEB Research Master’s degree. ‘It reflects the quality of the input from all those involved, especially Dr Bart Los, who recently stepped down as coordinator of the programme. The outstanding scores again show that the Research Master’s in Economics and Business is an excellent programme. This will definitely motivate us to work hard to keep up the high standards in the future development of the programme.’
