Teunter’s research
The field of reverse logistics refers to all logistic activities necessary to collect, disassemble and process used products, product parts, and/or materials in order to ensure a sustainable (environment-friendly) recycling.
Inventory control deals with decisions about when to order products and how many to order to ensure an optimal inventory. Teunter has a special interest in inventory control for service parts.
On the topic of forecasting, the professor focuses on a complicated category of products: those for which demand is very low and highly variable.
