Welcome at the Documentation Centre Dutch Political Parties (DNPP)
The purpose of the DNPP is to provide systematic and accessible information about political parties in the Netherlands. Its focus is on the extra-parliamentary activities of the parties, as their activities in parliament are already documented in the parliamentary proceedings. The DNPP tries to cover the history of all Dutch parties, going back to the late 19th century.
On the website you will find not only the catalogue of the DNPP and an overview of its collections, but also information about the history of the parties, membership figures, names of party presidents and secretaries and (in many cases) full text election manifestoes and party programmes (since 1945).
