Sick leave at the University of Groningen

Sick leave

Managers play an important role in their staff’s sick-leave guidance at the University of Groningen. They are supported by the Human Resource Management Department (P&O) and the Health, Safety and Environment Service (AMD). The AMD can establish a team of various officials, such as University doctors, staff welfare officials and a University nurse, to support managers and assist the staff member on sick leave. The menu item University of Groningen Sickness Absence Protocol contains an overview of the procedures involved in a sickness report, the person responsible for each step and the aim of each step in the process.
