Learning Communities

Learning Communities

Learning Communities constitute an innovative teaching method used within the University of Groningen. They create opportunities for students, lecturers, companies, alumni and other experts to work together on a problem. The focus is on experimenting, exploring, developing knowledge and skills and interaction with society. Learning Communities can take different forms, and the size of the groups, the subject and the duration can vary.

There are several ways that your company can join a Learning Community

  • Share an assignment or problem that students can work on
  • Give a guest lecture or interview
  • Arrange for participants in a Learning Community to visit your company
