WIS Thesis Prize

The Werkgroep Italie Studies awards a prize every two years for a thesis in the field of Italy Studies to a student from a Dutch or Flemish university (regardless of the researcher’s nationality).

The prize consists of a certificate, a cash award of €500, and a one-month research stay in the Institute, offered by the Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome (KNIR). The laureate is also given the opportunity to present the results of their research in an article in the WIS academic journal: Incontri.

The winner is announced during the annual WIS Research Day or on the Dag van Rome.
