University of Groningen Research Data Management
The RDM policy of the University of Groningen (2015) sets out in more detail University-wide principles that faculties, research institutions and researchers must comply with in relation to data management and the handling of research data. It is a general framework outlining basic principles and responsibilities for handling data that can be used for publishable or exploitable research, in relation to:
a) data storage
b) data curation
c) and data access.
Its purpose is to ensure innovative research and research integrity. This policy is based on general nationwide criteria.

Faculties and/or Research Institutes have established specific guidelines on datamanagement in line with the overall policy of the university, tailored to their research field, methods and organisation.
