Ethics

For responsible research, ethics and data protection are intertwined. The DCC, together with the ABJZ, supports faculty ethics boards to align expertise and clarify dilemmas. However, the DCC does not play a direct role in the ethical assessment of your research.

For more information on how to apply for the ethical assessment of your research, please consult the pages of the ethics committee in your faculty. In preparation for your ethical assessment, you can look into discipline-specific ethics codes or best practices, and read the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity.
