As part of Marcel Timmer's VICI-project, a long-run time series of World Input-Output Tables for the period 1965-2000 has been constructed.

This new database includes data for 25 countries and a model for the rest of the world, covering 23 sectors of the economy, classified according to the International Standard Industrial Classification revision 3 (ISIC Rev. 3). The tables adhere to the 1993 version of the SNA. The sources and methods documentation have been published in the following paper:
