Today the GGDC released the Socio-Economic Accounts (SEA), part of the WIOD 2016 release.

The Socio-economic accounts contain industry-level data on employment, capital stocks, gross output and value added at current and constant prices. It is designed to be a complement to the world input-output tables and can be used in conjunction to investigate the socio-economic effects of globalisation, as e.g in Timmer et al. (JEP, 2014).
