'Act on Acceptance': new service for Open Access publishing
'Act on Acceptance' is a new service of the CMB to make it easier for authors to publish their articles Open Access.
As soon as the author receives the acceptance email of the journal, he/she is asked to forward the email (including the accepted version of the manuscript (in Word or pdf format) to the CMB (
actonacceptance umcg.nl
). He/she 'directly' receives information with the specific workflow for that particular publisher to make use of a possible deal. If such a deal does not exists, and the author decides not to pay for the open access costs, the CMB will put the publication green open access in Pure.
