Science Support Desk

Visit the Science Support Desk of the University of Groningen for all your questions about science, your profile assignment or your practical assignment. You can make a support request via ‘Ask a question’. If you cannot open the form, send your question in an e-mail to betasteunpunt@rug.nl.

The staff of the Science Support Desk can answer questions like:

• How do you go about setting up an experimental research project? How do you set up a profile assignment? What equipment do you need? How do you draw up a work plan?
• Is your chosen theme suitable for a profile assignment? Suitable themes are suggested by the Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Computing Science & Artificial Intelligence departments. Take a look at the menu on the right.

The Science Support Desk will not only help you to fine-tune your research question, you can also apply to them if you would like to carry out your research at the University of Groningen, where you will be supervised by a student and where you can use the University’s research facilities.

The Science Support Desk challenges all school pupils to participate in the CO₂ research competition. CO₂ is a complex chemical compound, so we have selected two themes for you to focus on: air and plants.
