Training Privacy in Research

The University of Groningen offers an online course on DPIA in Research, "Privacy in research: asking the right questions ".

The course will help you understand the range of perspectives needed to build and demonstrate compliance with privacy regulation in research. Therefore, this e-learning material supports an active learning approach. You will be stimulated to reflect on the knowledge and competencies you need to fulfil your role as a professional. After completion of this course, you will be able to ask the right questions regarding the risks and measures to safeguard the rights of participants in a research project.

The course Privacy in research is designed for students, PhDs and researchers. The course is part of the COMENIUS project Privacy in Research.
The project aims to enable staff to build knowledge and skills on data protection and to include the materials in their courses. The project includes the creation of interactive learning communities based on real-life cases.
