DCC Workshop: Introduction to Git

In this workshop we will teach the basics of Git and using a code versioning platfiorm such as the GitHub. We will cover the following topics:
- What is version control?
- Basic git commands
- Creating a git repository and a project
- Working with branches
- Creating an issue
- Understanding errors
For this workshop you need to bring your laptop. Before the workshop you need to install Git on your machine and have an account on GitHub.
The same workshop will be repeated on the 16th of November at the same location.
