What can we do for you?
The Research Data Office (RDO) supports researchers and institutes of the University of Groningen in planning, managing, collecting, storing and presenting research data.
The RDO works on the basis of trust, knowledge and skills and a keen interest in providing you and your research the most suitable tools and services. We specialise in consulting on Research Data Management during the entire research lifecycle, e.g.
- RDM plans,
- Organising RDM in your research team,
- Data protection and GDPR (DPIA),
- Storing, sharing and processing data securely during your project,
- Archiving and publication of your research data,
- Workshops on RDM.
After contacting the RDO we either help you straight away or get in touch with you for an intake to better understand the issue at hand and to decide together on the solution.
We closely cooperate with the Centre of Information Technology (CIT), the Strategic Department of Education and Research (SER), the General Administrative and Legal Affairs (ABJZ) and the Service Desk Clinical Research Office (CRO) of the UMCG.
You get the best balance of expert knowledge, services and tools available on board when needed, taking University, faculty, institutional policies and (inter-)national best practices on RDM into account.
