The Energy Landscape in Groningen

The Energy Landscape in Groningen consists of several layers:

Faculties of the RUG and their centres for energy research and education, such as CEnBER, which is part of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. CEnBER is the binding element within the faculty and both initiates and coordinates energy matters that are relevant for research and education.

Energy Academy Europe ( EAE ) is a public-private organisation with several stakeholders, among which: University of Groningen, Hanze, Gasterra and NAM. CEnBER is closely connected to EAE activities through the GESP and other joint ventures. For example, our director Machiel Mulder is part of the EAE Steering Group Energy Education as representative of the University of Groningen.
