Bibliographies and reference works
A bibliography contains a list of books and/or articles published in a certain field of study.
For instance:
- The Index to Legal periodicals;
- Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals;
- Criminal Justice Abstracts;
- United Nations Monthly Bibliography.
Please note: a bibliography is not a catalogue. Always use the Catalogue to check if the publications referred to in the bibliography, are available in Groningen.
Reference works are publications that allow fast information retrieval, such as directories, dictionaries and encyclopaedias.
For instance:
- Guide to Legal Citations and Abbreviations;
- International Law Dictionary;
- A Concise Dictionary of Law.
