Business School Executive programma's Effective Climate Governance Programme

Lecturers

The Executive programme is taught by varopis expert lecturers from our Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen, including,

  • dr. Emma Folmer , assistant professor sustainable entrepreneurship at the University of Groningen, focuses in her research and teaching on the question how entrepreneurs and business can contribute to solving complex social problems. She is one of the core lecturers in the Executive MBA Sustainable Business Models.

  • prof.dr. Femke de Vries , professor in law with focus on non-executive board members. She holds the chair of the Advisory Board Nuclear Safety and Radiation Authority as well as of the Climate Committee Financial Sector. She is non-executive board member of the BNG Bank.

  • prof.dr. Nancy Kamp-Roelands , professor of non-financial information, integrated reporting and assurance at the University of Groningen. She brings a combination of experience with large multinational clients, (inter)national standard setting, executive teaching and research.

  • prof.dr. Loes Lennarts , professor of comparative company law, specialized in responsibility and liability of executive and supervisory directors regarding corporate social responsibility

  • prof.dr. Floor Rink , professor and research director Organizational Behavior at the University of Groningen. She is a specialist on boardroom dynamics and experienced lecturer executive education for board members.

  • prof.dr. Linda Steg, professor in environmental behaviour at the University of Groningen, with a broad expertise in acceptability and effectiveness of environmental policy, values and intrinsic motivation. She’s been appointed as a member of the Wetenschappelijke Klimaatraad.

  • prof.dr. Roland Mees , professor of practice of business ethics at the University of Groningen. He focuses on topics such as sustainable development, sustainable banking & finance and corporate governance. Mees has gained over 30 years of experience in the banking sector at ING, ABN Amro and Triodos Bank.

  • prof.dr. Dick de Waard , professor of auditing and assurance and has a track record of more than 30 years in researching and lecturing on sustainability, non-financial information and corporate social responsibility. He holds several positions in supervisory boards.
