All medical e-books on one website

RSS functionality is now possible in our University of Groningen Library Catalogue .
This is a long-standing wish of many librarians, mostly because of the possibilities it creates to distribute and aggregate information about publications listed in this Catalogue. Alert lists for individuals or departments, new books on specific topics, new ebooks and ejournals, to name a few. RSS opens a new range of features and services.

In cooperation with the Municipality of Groningen, the University of Groningen is set to solve the issue of randomly parked bicycles around the Academy Building, the Harmonie Building and the University Library. Bicycle racks will be installed and parking spaces created, and as of May all bicycles that are parked outside them will be removed.

The library of Arts provides a workshop RefWorks on 31 May (Dutch), 13-15 o'clock, multimediaroom in the library of Arts.

Due to the fact that the platform, on which the Historical Newspapers were searchable, doesn't function properly, the trial will not be turned into a licence for the time being. The trial is extended until May 16 2012.
