The amount of information - both in printed and digital form - has in all areas of science become so tremendous that professional support from information specialists may be necessary. 

 

On request they will conduct a literature search for you and/or give you advice about information sources. Several databases are used for this purposes - both locally and/or (inter)nationally; inside and outside University of Groningen.

 

Costs for searching and requesting (printing and/or downloading references) will be charged to the customer. For university members these costs may vary for an average search action from € 20 to € 120 depending on the number of databases being used, search time and the number of references requested.

 

For third parties there is also an hourly rate of € 84 (VAT excluded). It is possible to negotiate a maximum amount in advance.
