Library toolbox

Web technology allows users and librarians to use (free) web tools and services to re-use, personalize and even create new content. The library thinks users should be able to choose how, when and where they can access library and information services.

The CMB offers services in three ways: 

• tailor-made tools and services for staff and departments
• the most-used tools and services to be used by anybody, in a Library Toolbox
• courses, demo's and local instructions of this "web-literacy" for students and staff

 Our services focus on:

• search (basic and specialized search)
• news and alerts
• research, virtual and social networks (general ans specialized communities)
• reference management
