City Walking Tour: The first women at the University of Groningen

From the registration of Aletta Jacobs in 1871 to the professorship of Tine Tammes in 1919; there are numerous stories to be told about the women at the University of Groningen. This city walking tour guide brings a few of these stories together. It gives participants the opportunity to follow the footsteps of the first women at the University of Groningen.

In the context of the Aletta Year, the UG has collaborated with historians Sanne Meijer and Iris van den Brand who have created this City Walking Tour.
