New: online Ukrainian beginners course
In March, the University of Groningen Language Centre will offer a Ukrainian beginners course for the first time. The course is completely online and will introduce you to the Ukrainian language and culture. The enthusiastic and experienced teacher Yuliya Kazanova, is a Ukrainian native speaker and a scholar of contemporary Ukrainian literature.
This Ukrainian beginners course will introduce you to the Cyrillic script–the alphabetic system used to write in Ukrainian–and you will learn its pronunciation. You will learn everyday language for simple conversations and the basics of Ukrainian grammar. Furthermore, you will discover contemporary Ukrainian culture.
