Audiotour - Surprising stories from the University Museum

The classic museum's gallery offers a fascinating collection of objects from more than four hundred years of university history: special items, that show how researchers have been fascinated by the world around them and did everything they could to come to understand it better.

This audio tour takes you on a journey along intriguing objects and fascinating stories, from the head of a orang utan in formaldehyde, to the very first electrical car in the world, and an Egyptian princess that turned out to be a man.

Please note: due to refurbishment the permanent collections in the museum's gallery are not accessible until the end of May 2019. However, the stories of the audio tour are available online.

The audio tour is free an can be listened to via your own smartphone in the iziTravel app. You can download the app before your visit, or through the free wifi at the entrance desk of the museum.

At the entrance desk a small booklet with highlights from the collection is also available for free. Please note: due to refurbishment the highlights of the permanent collections in the museum's gallery are not accessible until the end of May 2019.
