mr. T. Mulder, BA
Trix Mulder is, as of February 2017, a PhD researcher at the University Medical Center Groningen and the Department of Corporate Law and European Law – European Technology Law and Human Rights at the University of Groningen. Under the supervision of Prof. dr. G.P. Mifsud Bonnici, Prof. dr. R.P. Stolk and Mr. dr. A.M. Klingenberg her PhD research focusses on the impact of regulation on the collection and storage of health data through apps. The research project will also investigate the current consent practices for data sharing. In 2011 she started studying IT law part time, next to her job as General Manager at an IT firm (Multimove). In 2016 she completed her study years with an LL.M. in IT Law (cum laude), and in 2017 with her second LL.M Research Master.
February 2017 - present: PhD Researcher on health data from apps and wearables;
October 2016 - January 2017: Research assistant at the Deparment of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law en Public Administration;
June 2016 - november 2016: Research assistant at the Department of Law and IT, working on the EU Media Pluralism Monitor;
December 2015 - May 2016: Research assistant at General Administrative and Legal Affairs of the University of Groningen, inventory project regarding personal data;
June 2014 - May 2015: Research and teaching assistant at the Department of Law and IT
