T.J. Bouma

Over the last years, I have acquired several research grants from different granting agencies, ranging from NWO (Dutch organization funding fundamental science), STW (Dutch organization funding frontier applied science), EU and Industry. This has resulted in a funding of approx. 1.5 million EURO since 2008.

The focus of these grants was on:

-       developing mechanistic knowledge for successful ecosystem restoration

-       using ecosystems for coastal defense (building with nature applications)

-       how to combine multiple ecosystem services

-       the role of bio-physical interactions in ecosystem functioning

-       developing indicators of environmental quality
