Research interests

My research addresses how intergenerational exchanges shape fertility outcomes in developed countries. I work in the following areas: fertility and family change, population aging, social demography, intergenerational exchanges.

Current research topics:
(1) Grandparenthood characteristics and kinship behaviour in advanced societies
(2) Fertility dynamics in the context of low and late fertility
(3) Social engagement and its implications for both cognitive and non-cognitive outcomes at later ages
