Expertise
Teaches film theory in University of Groningen, and at the Tel Aviv University. His fields of expertise are road movies, travel narratives and motion in the cinema; trash cinema and bad taste art; Documentary cinema; and Israeli cinema. In 2021 he completed his PhD in film studies, focusing in his dissertation on mechanical motion and sensation in contemporary cinema.

A senior member of the programming committee and the curator of the short films competition in Docaviv – the Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival. Involved as a producer and curator in several European film festivals
