dr. M.M. Wilhelm
Miriam joined the Faculty of Economics and Business in September 2010. She studied business adminstration in Tokyo and Berlin, and obtained her PhD at the Institute of Management of the Free University of Berlin.
Her main research interests lies on CSR and sustainability in global supply chains. She has an interest in supply chain governance and multi-stakeholder initiatives. She has researched these topics in number of empirical projects in the consumer electronics, global garment, and seafood industries. She has published in international outlets such as the Journal of Operations Management, Organization Science, the Journal of Supply Chain Management, among others.
Miriam has been a visiting scholar at the University of Tokyo, the Social Science Center Berlin, Meiji University Tokyo, and the University of Melbourne. She has also gained working experience outside academia which allowed her to build up in-depth expertise on the automotive industry, where she continues to engage in teaching programs for practitioners.
