My research concerns the economic effects of natural disasters, using physical data sources and remotely sensed economic outcome data. Relatedly, my fields of interest are urban/geographical, climate, and development economics. It fits the university's strategic themes (1) Future Prosperity & Sustainability and (2) Energy Transition & Climate Change. I completed a BA in liberal arts and sciences at Amsterdam University College, and an MSc in Research in Economics at the University of Groningen.
