Adobe licensing conditions changed: log into Adobe Creative Cloud as from 1 February
On 1 February, Adobe will change its licensing conditions. This will affect our use of all Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) programs that fall under the UG licence.
From now on, you will have to log into adobe.com using your @rug.nl email address in order to use any Adobe CC programs.
The programs are available on University PCs via the Start menu in the University Workplace (UWP). Log in using your @rug.nl email address. Read the manual
To download the programs on your home PC or User Managed PC (UFC), you need to go to adobe.com and log in using your @rug.nl email address. Read the manual
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, including Adobe Acrobat Distiller DC remains available via uwp.rug.nl
You can create your own account at adobe.com to use Adobe CC programs.
The programs are available on University PCs via the Start menu in the Student Desktop (SWP). Log in using your Adobe CC account.
You can purchase a licence via SURFspot for €132.75 per year so that you can use the programs on your home PC.
Adobe CC programs can no longer be accessed via uwp.rug.nl. Instead, you should download the programs from adobe.com.
Adobe CC can be used on up to two PCs at a time. As soon as you activate it on a third PC, a pop-up will appear telling you to close the program on one of the other PCs.
