ABSTRACT
In the first part, I will describe how magnetic properties and more precisely magnetization of lanthanide and actinide complexes can be calculated using wave function theory based calculations.
In the second part, I will illustrate this by our most recent works:
- double decker of cerrocene
- effect of the equatorial ligands on the magnetic properties of neptunyl
- magnetic properties in a series of metallocrowns of lanthanide
- single molecule properties of U(III) complexes
