The ambitious ArTOF 10k project has been active since 6 years aiming to multidimensional electron spectroscopy with full angular and time resolution. Several single bunch studies at BESSYII have been used to refine the hard and software. In November 2010 the design goals were achieved and a study of a topological insulator surface reveals new physics with possible spintronic applications. In this presentation the design principles of the instrument are given and a review of the recent results is made.
